John is a proud native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation and holds a BFA in General Theatre with Acting Emphasis from the University of Oklahoma. He also holds certificates from the Summer Training Congress at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and the 2002 Winter Intensive at Shakespeare & Co. in Lennox, MA. He is a two-time winner of the Best Actor Award at the SOURCE Summer Festival of new plays and the Grand Champion of Monologue Madness DC 2011. He has been a member of the DMV Film/TV/Theatre community since 1999 and is one of the co-stars of the Emmy award-winning The Men Who Built America. John also co-stars in the award-winning UFO web soap Milgram and the Fastwalkers, now entering it’s second season as well as the new Western film Day of the Gun, an all-DMV production based in Maryland. Among his passions are his family and his service as a volunteer transporter for rescued canines and other animals in need, most particularly the disabled and elderly.
